Social responsibility

Many people have the misconception that a business is about making money as fast and as much as possible. Of course, you need revenue to recoup your costs and develop your assets in a sustainable way, and you need somewhere to live, which also has significant costs. But, nevertheless, an ethical business is not an end in itself, which is why we call it a social enterprise, where, as permaculture puts it, People Care and Fair Share are also implemented.

For me, business is the least self-serving, I am in fact a civilian, all my activities are driven by the goal of community building. So as well as seeking out my community and participating in events like this, I try to follow the principles of People Care and Fair Share in my own business.

That’s why I organise a number of regular community events at the gallery, as well as collecting feminine hygiene products to donate to the women’s shelter of the RÉS Foundation in the VI district to alleviate menstrual poverty, and distributing leftover food from local cafes and bakeries to refugees in Hungary with the help of the Next Step Foundation.

I offer hard-to-find artisans a discounted opportunity to display and price their products, so you will soon find more beautiful, valuable and family-friendly art in the shop and gallery.

In addition to the above, I have another mission: animal advocacy. Therefore, I donate 10% of the price of every product I make to an animal welfare organization in Hungary.

Supported organizations:

Agár Fajtamentés (Greyhound Shelter)
Eszkuláp (Dachshound Shelter)
Rókales (Fox Shelter)
Tollas Barát (Feathered Friend)
Varjúsimogató (Crows’ Petter)
